It was our only full day in Rome and we planned on making every moment count. We left the hostel got breakfast and got passes for the public transportation so we didn’t have to walk all over the city in the scorching heat. We started our tour through the city at the famous Colosseum. The structure doesn’t compare to pictures. You can see it from miles away but you aren’t fully prepared for the structure until you are next to it and you are taking it in.
From there we made our way to the pantheon because it was on a different side of the city. the architecture itself was absolutely stunning and is something I’m so happy i have pictures of. After the Pantheon we went back to the Trevi fountain because we all wanted pictures of the fountain during the day as well.
We went out for diner because not all of us had had past from Italy yet and it was a must. We found another small restaurant and had some of the best pasts I’ve ever had. we thought we would stay out later but the sun that day was brutal and we were all exhausted.
